Fly Beyond Dreams - water colour style background

In today’s art journal page project I’m using some Neocolor II water soluble crayons to create a watercolour style background.

This technique is one I haven’t used in quite a few years and I had to dig out my Neocolors from the back of the cupboard! I also learned something about the labels on the crayons that I’m ashamed to say I never realised!

The main focal image is an image from a Dina Wakley Media stamp set stamped with Stazon ink onto a piece of napkin tissue paper.

The page was finished off with some watered down gold metallic paint from IndigoBlu and a couple of “Big Chat” word stickers from Tim Holtz.
